TEENS, read this: Crossword is an annual camp in the December holidays, which has been running since before many of you were born. Our desire is that you will encounter Christ as his gospel is preached from the Bible. The results of this are exciting and varied. Some of you will understand why we worship and delight in Christ, for the very first time. Others will have their faith strengthened and matured. While camp is centered on Jesus Christ there is still plenty of time over our four days together for more: connecting with other teens from around the province; conquering the other teams in numerous challenges, both physically active as well as mentally demanding; and creating memories. The days are packed with all of the above, along with hearty meals and opportunities to take some time out and relax. Your leaders will be a bunch of young adults from the churches in our network who have two objectives on camp: make sure you have a great time and point you to our great God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

PARENTS, for your perusal: Crossword is ReachSA's annual youth camp, which has been running since 2002. In that time hundreds of teens have joined us, often year after year, and many have returned after school as leaders. All of our leaders are carefully vetted and trained in advance to ensure the teen's safety on camp, and in order to provide the best possible experience. You can get a flavour for the entertaining side of camp above, but let us be clear about one thing here: our primary commitment to your teenagers is to preach and teach them the living and active Word of God, the Bible. In the Bible we are introduced to Jesus Christ and since all the leaders on camp know him it is our desire that your teens will meet him to, follow after him and live in a way that obedience to him is expressed in love for others. In addition to the main Bible teaching sessions there are elective talks tackling topics specific to the struggles of teens and our world.
